a strange think happened to me just minutes before, after i entered the battle que and i found a battle, the battle got cancelled and the message "battle cancelled because the user is already in battle" came out.

I find it even more suspicious because i just beat the same guy in the previous battle and we got in a battle again and then this happened,

I dont know if the player has something to do with it, but i think you should search it out.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this issue, which is known. Sometimes, a player may find 2 opponents at once. The player in question was already in a battle with someone else, so your match against him was canceled. I hope this clears up any confusion regarding the situation.
