Murkrow only at night and in route 16 or 18

Ye night time only, better chance in route 18 I think. But can also be found in route 7. For best area, route 7 can also have houndour, vulpix and growlithe that you can get.

For specific Pokemon locations, I'd recommend checking out the game guide section of the forums. Here you can find many spawn guides which can help you on your quest. Also, if you've seen a Pokemon in battle, then you can check your Pokedex for specific locations.
