EV-reducing Berries no longer reduce Effort Points to 100 if the points were above 100; instead, only 10 EVs are deducted.

reduces 10 per but if the ev is ANYTHING above 100, so even 252, it will go down to 100 and then goes down by 10 :)

It didn't work for me on multiple occasions.

My alakazam's atk was 102 twice and it only reduced it to 92 on both occasions.

your reading from gen 5, we use gen 6. Gen 6 no longer reduce EVs to 100 from 1 berry.
