Reload Cache

did some googling and perhaps the cache for the site is outdated 

do i have to wait for google to re-crawl the site or

maybe someone could update the cache?

Even after I update/delete my posts some of the results still show when i search myself using Bing. Even after I tried replying to something else it still shows. The new topics i make here are instantly searchable, but my updates here never change online. I do not like seeing the reply that shows after the search, but after modifying the post the result is still there. 

 

All help is appreciated.

 

Edit: If I look myself up at different times the search results are different. Sometimes my PRO content is at the top and sometimes it's other stuff. Weird. After my PRO content shows up for the first time all times after that it always shows.

 

Edit: Apparently to re-crawl ur supposed to wait 15-30 days, but my reply was in dec 2021 and it says my "content" is from oct 2021. The actual words i said are weirdly the same for both results.

 

Edit: Is it possible to hide the post? It's not created by me, but by a user called 1790561. I contacted them to ask about this already.

Edit: I think the problem's resolved, I just had to wait around a week for the search results to update. I'll put some text here so that when it does it wont bring any of this other weird stuff on xD

Yeah, cuz i wrote like "I dont think the school would target blocking such a small game like PRO compared to all the other games out there" on that post which was kind of dumb on my part cuz i didnt know it would be so easily searchable. The link goes to my content page but the snapshot is that one specific post. Before it it says oct 16, 2021. I don't know if that's the date i did the post or the last time the search engine checked it.

 

Im guessing since i edited the post a few days ago, i might have to wait 1-2*** days for bing to re-crawl to it(at least what a site said).

 

Edit: The date is probably my first post. I will wait a few days to see if there is any change.

Edit: Some sites say 1-2 days some say 1-2 months idk what to trust lol

Did some more research, maybe have to like put URL in webmaster or smt? Still gonna wait like a few days though

 

Edit: yeah seems like "the site owner has to go to Bing webmasters and recrawl the link" but idk if it would be appropriate to go to all of that trouble. I dont even know who the site owner is o.O

 

Edit: looking at the "content" link on google of some of my fellow PRO players, the range of the posts that appeared in the snipper ranged from January to December to June. I haven't seen any of them edit those posts though, so probably it's again just a matter of waiting.

Today while looking at some of my fellow PRO players on bing i saw the snippets get larger, go back to normal, then the content page(which is what I am having problems with) becoming a even smaller snippet under the result of the player's name.

For example, if the previous format was:

Pokemonrh - Pokemon Revolution Online

Pokemonrh's Content - Pokemon Revolution Online 

as separate results, now it's

Pokemonrh - Pokemon Revolution Online

Pokemonrh's Content

as a smaller heading.

I see this applied to the other players but not me, so i thought it was maybe the webmaster messing around with the controls xd

I think the issue's mostly been fixed, but I'm not sure if it's because the webmaster did it or bing just updated lol. I've updated my post again, so if its the webmaster, could they please refresh it again, but otherwise should be fine.
