I am still in Kanto and I have a level 54 (possibly higher by the time you read this) Magneton and I was wondering if there is any way to evolve it into a Magnezone, before beating the 8th gym.

 

EDIT: I managed to evolve my Magneton into a Magnezone by leveling it up inside the Power Plant
