Hi,

in the Heatran quest process, I must have a lvl 60 (max) pokemon to enter the Stark Mountain Main Cavern. So I decided to take a Munchlax and make it to lvl ~55 and make it evolve into Snorlax before lvl 60. But for unknown reason, it didn't propose me to evolve it from lvl 56 to lvl 60 (while having max happiness). I tried battle and rare candy. And now I have a Munchlax lvl 60 and can't evolve it to continue the quest. 

So my question is, are there anyway to evolve it while staying at lvl 60 or de-level it to lvl 59 ?

And also, why didn't it propose me to evolve into Snorlax ?

I am afraid we don't delevel Pokes. But Munchlax evolves with max. happiness. So there is no need for it to lvl up to trigger the evolution. You can do the following:

 

1. let Munchlax faint 1 time

2. completely close your client

3. start client and log back in

4. heal up at any Pokecenter

5. bring friendship back to max. by killing 5 Pokes (3 if you use Soothe Bell) at a low lvl spot

 

If that doesn't work open the console (press F2 on PC or Options Screen for Android) type "clean reg" and try above steps again.
