My Manphy has ran away before I caught it. Please help me.

During this quest, after defeating Captain Phantom, the temple starts flooding and you must follow Manaphy back into said temple. You need to get back to the Crown room, pick the right jewel, and place it into the shrine, which will stop the flooding. It appears you've reached that point in the quest.
However, after completing this step Manaphy disappear, and it's normal. You must go back to find Lyzabeth and her friends and talk to them. After doing so, you can head back to the temple to find Manaphy, in the far end of the map, and you'll have a chance to catch it.

After completing the quest I returned to the temple and at that time I've chance to catch it but it ran away before I talk to it.
