I talked to Oaks Aide who gave me a reward for catching 30 Pokemon, but i received nothing. Please help.

 

The reward you receive for catching 30 Pokémon is the Rock Smash TM. The 30 Pokémon must be of different species for it to work.

 

For example: If you started with Bulbasaur and it evolved into Ivysaur, you'd now have 2 "caught" Pokémon. If you then caught 28 caterpie, you'd only have 3 "caught" Pokémon.
