Hi guys im new to this game and was wondering what the recommended pokemon to catch and level up is?

i just beat Brock and am on my way to Misty. I dont want a pokemon for Misty specifically, but more ones who are usefull and can help out towards end game.

Hi, snubull at route 2 at night with element fang (ice/fire/thunder) can help you almost gym. Additionally, you also need to perpare the Gyagrados (evolve from magikarp - using old rod for catch) and Gengar (evolve by trading from haunter, can catch in lavender town) for E4 also :Grin: Goodluck
