Ability to retrieve items held by pokemon in storage

When I went over from Kanto to Johto I wasn't thinking about the items that were still held by my pokemon while I knew it isn't possible to retrieve items from pokemon in the storage directly by clicking on them. It is only possible to take items from pokemon in the party.

 

Unfortunately this makes it impossible to retrieve the items that were still held by pokemon caught or traded in Kanto, as they are locked in the storage until I have all badges from Johto...

 

All I need is the ability to take items from pokemon in the storage. I don't think this would be some kind of a cheat.

Try returning to Kanto. If not, you will need to beat GYMs to unlock said Pokemon.

As long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those that are unable to accept what can be.
