i love this game i would love if Nintendo backed this but i guess donations will have to do for now which brings me to my question i know that you get 50% more exp and early access to pokemon but what does the members only areas include, will this mean that i can't progress later on in the game

As far as I know, membership only areas don't hinder the story, they're just additional areas that don't alter the flow of the game in general. You can continue without paying.

Rest assured, you can complete the entire main storyline of the game without having membership. While membership does unlock additional content, it is not required.

 

A few of the areas that membership can unlock include:

An exclusive members-only area in the Kanto Safari, an additional area in Lavender's Pokemon Tower, a members-only lagoon in Johto, and the Sevii Islands.

I'd suggest you to spend the 5 Euro tho, or atleast, as soon as u have 120k buy a Membership Medailon from someone. It really speeds up the grind , also gives more money in the end. Without i probably lost my mind already. :P
