I saw that it was possible to transfer an account on the silver server to the glod.

But I have another account on Gold that I don't use and would like to delete.

In order to transfer my account from the silver server to the gold.

You basically swap your silver and gold account, nothing gets deleted. You can switch by logging into the dashboard. You get a free switch every 30 days, otherwise it will cost 100coins.
