I was trying to help a guy evolve his eevee into Sylveon but for some reason I can't. It's already max happiness and has also 1 fairy type move. I am also in love island and I leveled it up with a rare candy. Is this happening because he lend it to me or for some other reason?

 

YEA IT happens some time i suggest to kill it by some poke to decrease it happiness and then again increase it at love island 

Nah it's still not working. I think it has to do with the fact that the pokemon is lended probably, but thank you so much for your help.

The problem you're encountering with the Eevee's evolution in Love Island is indeed due to the fact that the Eevee in question is a lent Pokémon. Please note that lent Pokémon are not intended to be evolved.

 

However, under normal circumstances, an Eevee should evolve into Sylveon when leveled up in Love Island, provided that it already knows a Fairy type move. This evolution should occur as expected.
