Losing to a gym leader still gives badge

Featured Replies

Hello,

I just wanna ask if losing to a gym leader should still give me a badge? I lost to Janine so I made Gengar with correct evs, came to her but after talk she didn't start the fight. I checked my badge slot and I had soul badge which is from her gym as I recall.

Is this a known issue/designer feature or do you think it is a bug?

Cheers

Hello,

Thank you for reporting this issue, I have looked into it and I have some follow up question:

Do you by any chance remember how many Pokemon you defeated on your attempt?

Was Janine down to her last Pokemon? and if yes, do you remember which Pokemon she had left as her last?

What Pokemon did you have left alive before you lost the fight?

I am looking forward to your reply.

Thank you again for reporting.

Um, I think I took your time because I confused Sabrina with Janine. Cuz I lost with the one with alakazam but I thought the poison one was the psychic one 🤦‍♂️ sorry I am stupid but after loss I was creating gengar and it took me several days, that's why I made a mistake 🤦‍♂️ You can close/delete the issue @Scatterbug and thanks for fast reply

Locked as resolved 🙂
