Can we get evolution items with the theft skill? (magmarizer electrizer vs)

Hello @Skunk1.

It is indeed possible for Wild Pokemons to hold certain evolution items. You can steal those items with different moves, like Covet, Thief, Trick, or a with a Pokemon having the Pickpocket or Magician ability. Those items include, but are not limited to:

-The Magmarizer, which you can steal from wild Magby and Magmar

-The Electirizer, which you can steal from wild Elekid and Electabuzz, aswell as Shinx on route 36.

If you wish for more informations on the different Evolutionary items and the ways to acquire them, you can have a look at the wiki page here.

To help you in your search of the held item, you can use a Pokemon having the ability Frisk, which will reveal if a wild Pokemon is holding an item. Don't forget that your Thief Pokemon must not hold an item in order to steal it from the wild Pokemon. Also take notice that the wild Pokemons will not always hold an item, and some will only hold it in certain specific zones. I strongly advise checking the Wiki to be sure you're hunting in a place where it is possible to find the item.
