Greetings @Provb Yes, the Pokemon immune to grass has to be one with the ability Sap Sipper and has to be your OT, thus cannot be a traded one, along with the other requirements you can find listed in the guide on forums on the Ampharosite quest(more info here). Note that you can only start this quest after becoming Johto Champion and after having the Mega Bracelet(more info here). I hope this helps answer your question.
