Change pokemon after KO of opponent

Featured Replies

On the original game, we have an option to change pokemon after KO of pokemon opponent.

The game announce the name of next pokemon to fight, and we can change our pokemon if we want it, can you include an option about it like the originals pokemons games ? :Shy:

Edit : not for PvP, only for solo game, battle with IA, don't want to break the gameplay PvP. :)

I think they didn't implement this to make battles seem more like online ones's. As it's unfair for you to keep sending out the best match-ups to just sweep the opponent. It would make bosses and such a lot easier and less rewarding.

Doubt they will implement this

Afaik it will not be implemented, because it would make the game much easier and in OrAs for example u cant switch them while fighting other real life people. Forgive me if i'm wrong :D Never played PvP in OrAs.

Cheers

You're correct. No PvP mode on any of the Pokemon games has let you switch out after a KO.

I think that it's better if you can change pokemon but without know the next pokémon opponent, Because your trainer opponent is favorite because he know the your pokémon that is on the field and he can select the Pokémon favorite.

If i change the pokèmon after i lose a turn.

So i think that for a correct battle we can change pokémon after the K.o. without know the name of pokémon! :y:

I mean, it's skill based. Just create a team that can withstand multiple move-types or get Pokemon with a diverse moveset so you can counter your weaknesses.

If you could also change Pokemon whilst not knowing what your opponent will swap into it would be a completely random match-up; similar to a start of a battle where first turn swaps are regular. It would essentially break the meta...

Oh sorry, i'm not talking about PvP, but player versus ia, in "solo" adventure game. :)
