Red
I was never asked for such permission. However said permissions are visible under app info: https://imgur.com/kbxW1kT.png HTC One M9 - 5.02 -Rooted. Installation via Suite. Samsung S6 Edge - 5.0 -Unrooted. Direct .apk installation. Nexus - 5.0 -Unrooted. Direct .apk installation. -That being said; the app itself is to be installed through non-safe sources give that it is not on the app store. As for phone calls and other, the app needs to know if you phone will ring in order to pause and to save the state. Also, application needs to let OS to have sound priority if your phone rings and so on and to do so permission is obviously needed. We also need to save user settings and other preferences where it is not possible to save them by you having an username. Same way PRO creates registry values in windows. We do not take user sensitive information however because there is no need to. The app itself is installed if you decide to trust to unknown sources. Soon as the app do not require root access to your device you will be alright. As long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those that are unable to accept what can be.
