Its not complete but wil get bigger. Items held by wild pokémon can only be found on that pokémon which have a yellow/red box on thier sprites. You see the yellow/red box when you put your Map on grass-position. PS: Sorry for my bad english and if anybody knows more item locations, just add them below. I go and find them myself to confirm it.[/glow] [highlight=Green]1. Evolutionary items:[/highlight] Metal Coat - Magnemite and Magneton / Olivine City: trade Krabby for Voltorb (he wears the item) When a Pokémon hold this item, all steel-type moves its power are increased by 20% When Onix or Scyther holds the Metal Coat, they will evolve into Steelix and Scizor when traded over. Dawn Stone - Old lady Johto Safari wet zone 20.000$/ use TM Dig on cracks in caves. Causes male Kirlia to evolve into Gallade. Causes female Snorunt to evolve into Froslass. Shiny Stone - Old Man Safari Kanto 20.000$/wild Togepi/use TM dig on cracks in caves. A stone that evolves the following Pokémon: Togetic into Togekiss, Roselia into Roserade, Floette into Florges. King's Rock - Use Tm Dig in cracks in caves. Has a 10% chance of causing the target Pokémon to flinch when using a move without an added effect. Alse evolves Poliwhirl into Politoed, Slowpoke into Slowking. Trade while holding King's Rock to evolve. Dragon Scale - Dragons Den It can be found on Horsea, Seadra, Kingdra, Dratini, Dragonair, Dragonite This item, when attached to a Seadra and traded, evolves into Kingdra. Deep Sea Scale - Chinchou/Lantern A Deep Sea Scale is an item that evolves Clamperl into Gorebyss if Clamperl is traded while holding it. It also doubles Clamperl's Special Defense while held. Electrizer - Elekid/Electabuzz This item, when attached to a Electabuzz and traded, evolves into Electivire. Magmizer - Magby/Magmar This item, when attached to a Magmar and traded, evolves into Magmortar. Leaf stone - Exeggcute The Leaf Stone is a special elemental stone when used on certain Pokémon, evolves them. [highlight=Green]2. Move type boosters:[/highlight] Dragon Fang - Route 6 from NPC It can be found on a Bagon, Shelgon or Salamance. When this item is held, any Dragon-type move used by the holder has its power increased by 20%. Miracle Seed - Goldenrod Underground Basement in an empty flowerpot/Poké Mart Azelea Town. When this item is held, any Grass-type move used by the holder has its power increased by 20%. Hard Stone - Geodude/Graveler Boosts the power of Rock-type moves by 20% when held. Rock Incense - Use TM Dig on cracks in caves. Effect: Boosts the power of Rock-type moves by 20% when held. Note: not in this game: 'Secondary effect: Causes Sudowoodo to produce a Bonsly Egg while at the Pokémon Day Care.' Charcoal - Poké Mart Azelea Town When this item is held, any Fire-type move used by the holder has its power increased by 20%. Twisted Spoon - Abra/Kadabra When this item is held, any Psychic-type move used by the holder has its power increased by 20%. Light Clay - Route 9 When this item is held by a Pokémon, if the holder uses the attacks Reflect or Light Screen, the effects of those attacks last eight turns as opposed to five. Magnet - Route 37 When this item is held, any Electric-type move used by the holder has its power increased by 20%. Spell Tag - Misdreavus When this item is held, any Ghost-type move used by the holder has its power increased by 20%. Never Melt Ice - Island 4, Icefall Cave B1F When this item is held, any Ice-type move used by the holder has its power increased by 20%. Poison Barb - Tentacruel Boosts the power of Poison-type moves by 20% when held. Sharp Beak - Doduo When this item is held, any Flying-type move used by the holder has its power increased by 20% Mistic Water - Golduck (Dragons Den)/ Lapras When this item is held, any Water-type move used by the holder has its power increased by 20%. [highlight=Green]3. Stat type boosters:[/highlight] Quick claw - Sandshrew/Sandslash/Free from Lady with Persian in National Park A Quick Claw is an item that raises the speed of a Pokémon and gives it a 20% chance to attack first if its speed is lower than that of its opponent. Eviolite - You have to be member of the Dragons Club to obtain this item. Effect: Raises the holder's Defense and Special Defense by 50% if the holder is not fully evolved. Black sludge - Grimer/Muk When this item is held by a Pokémon, if the holder is of the Poison-type, it restores 1/16th of its maximum HP each turn. If the holder is not a Poison type, it loses 1/16th of its maximum HP each turn. Absorn Bulb - Oddish/Gloom. This item, when attached to a Pokémon, causes the Pokémon's Special Attack to rise when hit by a Water-type Attack. Leftovers - Thrash Can on boat SS anna/Snorlax When this item is held, at the end of every turn, the holder regains 1/16th of their maximum HP. Choice Scarf - Porygon Cinnabar Island (Not all Porygon wear them!) An item to be held by a Pokémon. This curious scarf boosts Speed but only allows the use of one move. Assault Vest - Goomy When held by a Pokémon, it increases the Sp. Defense stat by 50% but requires the Pokémon to only use damaging attacks. Light Ball - Pikachu When this item is held by a Pikachu, the holder's Attack & Special Attack is doubled. Focus band - Machop/Machoke. If this item is given to a Pokémon to hold and they are damaged by an attack that would knock it out, this item gives the Pokémon a 10% chance of preventing a Knock Out and keeping the holder at 1HP. Lagging Tail - Slowpoke (Dragons Den) When this item is held by a Pokémon, the holder will always move last in its Speed Priority group in the turn. Trick Room does not affect this item. Smoke Ball - Koffing/Weezing An item to be held by a Pokémon. It enables the holder to flee from any wild Pokémon encounter without fail. [highlight=green]4. Fossiles:[/highlight] Old Amber - Use dig on cracks on the ground in Mt.Moon/Rock Tunnel Old Amber can be regenerated into an Aerodactyl on Cinnabar Islands. Helix Fossil - Mt.Moon on the ground or use dig on cracks on the ground in Mt.Moon/Rock Tunnel. This fossil will be revived into the Pokémon Omanyte on Cinnabar Islands. Dome Fossil - Mt.Moon on the ground or use dig on cracks on the ground in Mt.Moon/Rock Tunnel. This fossil will be revived into the Pokémon Kabuto on Cinnabar Islands. Root Fossil - Use dig on cracks on the ground in Mt.Moon/Rock Tunnel This fossil will be revived into the Pokémon Lileep on Ruins of Alph. Claw Fossil - Use dig on cracks on the ground in Mt.Moon/Rock Tunnel This fossil will be revived into the Pokémon Anorith on Ruins of Alph. [highlight=green]5. TM - Move Tutor:[/highlight] TM29 Psychic - House in Saffron City (one for free, others 12.500£) The target is hit by a strong telekinetic force. This may also lower the target's Sp. Def stat. Move: Swift - House Saffron City (2000£) Star-shaped rays are shot at the opposing Pokémon. This attack never misses. "I sell you these moves": Bide - Pewter Gym (750£) Earthquake - Viridian Gym (6000$) Bubble Beam - Cerulean Gym (1500£) Thunderbolt - Vermilion Gym (3000£) Mega Drain - Celadon Gym (1500£) Toxic - Fuchsia Gym (2000£) Psychic - Saffron Gym (3000£) False Sweep - Route 5 (9000£) TM 46: Psywave - Goldenrod Underground Path TM 62: Taunt - Goldenrod Underground Basement [highlight=green]6. Berries:[/highlight] Rawst Berry - Growlithe/Vulpix If held by a Pokémon, can cure it of a burn instantly, or can be used as an item to cure burns. EV-reduction berries: Al these berries can be found in the Maze in Viridian Forest. You can also win these berries from the Berry Tower on route 13. [highlight=Green]7. Mega Evolution Stones:[/highlight] After Playing 50 Hours (end beating kanto e4: not confirmed) you can get a mega evolution stone from the assistant of Professor Oak. The mega evolution stone you get from him wil be the stone for your starter Pokémon. You can't use them right now but will be implomented. Venusaurite - Evolves Venusaur into Mega Venusaur during battle Blastoisinite - Evolves Blastoise into Mega Blastoise during battle. Charizardite Y - Evolves Charizard into Mega Charizard Y Charizardite X - Evolves Charizard into Mega Charizard Y [highlight=green]8.Valuable item:[/highlight] Nugget/Big Nugget - Free route 24/Use dig on cracks on the ground in Mt.Moon/Rock Tunnel. Valuable items that can be sold to Item Maniac Route 25. Nugget = 15.000£ Big Nugget = 30.000£ Tiny Mushroom - Paras Valuable items that can be sold to Item Maniac Route 25. Tiny Mushroom = 1.500£ [highlight=green]9. Out-of-battle effect item[/highlight] Soothe Bell - Golbat (Dragons Den) When this item is held by a Pokémon, the Happiness earned by the Pokémon is doubled. Macho Brace - Goldenrod City (trade drowzee for machop, machop holds macho brace) This item, when held, doubles the Effort Values the Pokémon earns from each battle. However, it lowers the Pokémon's Speed. [highlight=green]10. Shards[/highlight] You can win shards in Goldenrod Underground Path when playing the lottery for 5000$. - [highlight=yellow]Yellow[/highlight]Shard: You need this to buy Thunderpunch. - [highlight=red]Red[/highlight]Shard: You need this to buy Fire Punch. - [highlight=blue]Blue[/highlight]Shard: You need this to buy Ice Punch.
