Soooooo... I'm planning to come back to the game after... two years? Three? Anyaway I stopped just after Hoenn was released. What happened since then? I see Sinnoh on the map but also lots of Gen V+ Pokes on the market. Any new interesting quests? Any new zones? Help me get up to date a bit :)

Most likely like Sevii Islands. Lots of places to go, some itneresting Pokemon to find and... that's about it :P I don't think that Orange gyms would work in a game like this. I mean in the anime they were more like challenges mostly, and not battles...

As any starter is catchable for everyone there is not much point in choosing a starter for other than RP reasons. The chances that your starter will be good are very slim, so you'll have to hunt for a good starter anyway.

Are you sure it's not that those who log out got stuck in the server lobby? Because sometimes I get the logging in message but then nothing happens. I tried this when all the European and American players are supposed to be sleeping too and I encountered the same issue.

Berries are consumables. Therefore if you used then they should disappear from your inventory, or from your Poke. If you eat an apple you will never get that apple back any more after all. Why should a PVP be different?

The blue is an abandoned Pokemon. You must surf to get it, I won't say more about that :) The other I have no idea as I wasn't in the mood to figure it out yet.

I think it's still the aftereffect of the recent update. It should go back to normal soon.
