ADD MORE NPC OFFICER JENNY THROUGHOUT THE REGION

Recommended Posts

I would like to ask an request that can you please add more bounty giving npc officer jenny in all respective region as i have seen that it is only available for kanto region it would be better to add more jeeny which will help new player to gain money as in battle wild pokemon and npc drops maximum 2k  where as if you loose a fight you possibly loose 30k or even more thoung loosing money is not point but stilll it will help to add officer jenny bounty giver in all region and also for new player they mostly won't be able to defeat bosses mostly as they don't have item or pokemon to buy or train them in trainers tower so adding npc jenny will help them to gain little bit amount of money.

  • Ldrago0310j changed the title to ADD MORE NPC OFFICER JENNY THROUGHOUT THE REGION

If you have completed Kanto and Johto regions you can unlock Pinkan. With those 2 regions and Pinkan Island access you can make a strong bossing team, each boss when beaten nets you between 10k and up to 125k (BattleBot which requires membership), which in my personal opinion makes Officer Jenny rewards look like chump change in comparison.

The Officer Jenny bounties are just there to help beginners in the first region to find their feet, adding more could be seen as an expansion on content, but could lead to a crippling crutch as new user would become depended on the "big rewards" from Bounties instead of adapting to the grind needed for endgame play.

bro for pinkan island firstly you need playtime to start then you need powerful team as giovoni is having strong team with him . till the mean time mostly plsyer mostly will go for compleating region rather than pinkan island as you also need scyther and electabuzz 90lvl + maxed happiness i know hunting is not the problem it can be hunt but still problem is money for starters how they will train them they still need money to buy pokeball to train in trainer tower to unlock cerulean cave and some quest are very hard like metagross, keldeo quest or other quest which require item to be bought or grine them by playing it will literally take an year or more like catching 3rd bird and few pokemon require member ship to catch them or travel region to catch them. so mostly first try to compleate region where you still need money after that jenny quest is like to give usefull item or 4-10k and jenny quest are not repeateable too jenny quest will be like an little booster to them

I don't think player will dependent to them they still have to grine . if they become dependent then what's the purpose of introducing jenny quest in kanto????

game can easily remove them if want to?
and also it will be like an side quest which will make game more interesting as it will provide good rewards to deal with and reward  will be like getting 10lvl ball or revive herb or few rare candy 3-5. these item are basically usefull for new player and they are omly obtainable by diging giving little item will not affect the game nor player will become dependent as again not repeatabe like bcc here i am not  asking to add repeatable jenny quest that might affect game a lot but just adding jenny quest will make newbie to gain a chance to built their own team to do pvp or to buy master balls as game has recently increased master balls price in shops.

and if there any doubt or i might have eaten few line please be free to notify me or if i am wrong about above line

Masterballs, Revival herbs and PvP teams are end game problems so lets skip that topic.

There is already the PokeStop that gives the items you listed with cooldown, so they are at a random assortment available, repeatedly.

Trainer tower and Cerualian Cave are the fasted ways to level at a price but not the only ways to level, even npc trainers can be re-battled after a cooldown with stronger teams(which has an upper limit) with better pokedoller rewards. Victory road is free, can get you up to a high enough level to challenge the e4 and has nice pokedollar rewards from defeating wild mons.

It's also possible to hunt and catch sync mons then hunt for relevant pvp or bossing mons that are relatively available and auction off the cream of the crop for high profits.

Again the Officer Jenny Bounties in Kanto is there to assist new players, after defeating the e4 and moving on to the Johto region means that you are no longer new to the game, you should have the know how to be able to make the pokedollers you need to get pokeballs and support items to push through the "story".

Metagross is not an easy hunt no matter how you approach it, if you want to tackle it while still doing the story that is your choice.

Legendaries are end game content so skipping that one as well as it is not relevant to newbies still doing story.

i know that there are pokestops all around which also gives important items (can't you see this is also related to the type where players are dependent)

trainer tower + cerulean cave both requires money as trainer tower first take less as your pokemon level are it is not depended on number of pokemon you take so it increases time by time and whereas to unlock cerulean cave you have to gather 200k to get member ship first then you have to defeat lance boss which is again not easy task

Leveling through npc does not gives more exp as because they have introduced new exp system in gave so it is a lot more harder to level up and mostly npc drops less money around 100-800 if you defeat event or gym boss they only drops 1k-2k and gym difficulty lvl is also increased i  know victory road is free but when your pokemon levels up their exp gaining speed decreses and some good mons are very hard to train as some has low spd or some has low def or type disadvantage which makes more difficult to gain exp and also pokemon sometimes drops 0 money too.

i don't think skipping legendary are best option don't you know game's basic slogan "Gotta Catch 'Em All"  if these keeps on mainly most number of players will probable leave game.

okay if you think that officer jenny quest should not introduced to game then game should atleat introduce money giveaway around 5k-10k by defeating gym leaders as they can be battle again and they also drops less money in battle that seriously doesn't make any sense as in other game gym leader drops more money as they are gym leader it is like defeating normal player but will only give badge and few number of item and also they don't even drop tm which is useful to train pokemon and gym leaders gets stronger after you compleate pokemon league

Your reference to the original games doesn't take into consideration that those are one region games, PRO uses multiple regions with its own economy that spans across all available regions.

Back on topic, Officer Jenny in other regions for support, I am not against this, but the purpose of Office Jenny Bounties is not for pokedollar and item rewards, the npc is there to help players that have never played any of the franchise games get used to the game mechanics.

Got to catch them all "eventually" is more like it, PRO is a Multi-region MMO that needs to cater to both new players and old veterans that have been around since the founding of the game. I left Kanto before the exp rework, before the Trainer tower and no Cerulean cave unlock with 1m pokedollars just through hunting, yes it took awhile to beat e4, a process of hunt/train/fail e4 restart from hunt. The point is that it is possible to make the required funds for training facilities if you have the patience.

@Doodskusbro i think we are hitting pretty off road the topic my main suggestion is to add more npc  so that player will  atleast pay attention to the story as like jenny quest is also acted as an guide line of this game as few quest old are like  training ev catching h.a. pokemon or gives an side quest to deal with which makes game interesting for example there are many side quest around the game but most possible don't know where is their specific location but adding jenny will directly point out few hidden thing but yes exploration is key to successes but atleat tell us is there any quest left behind for example

Spoiler

thats not even given in wiki how a new person will know about it i myself got to know when i started game second time atleast give an way of notification so that player can cover that part too. there are some side quest which are left behind while doing story.

Now we hit on one of the topics that I most enjoy about PRO, when you start looking around and find hidden gems.

I agree with you that there is a lot of things that are missed while you are focused on completing the story line, but in the same sense this also presents something to do when you get bored of end game grind and just go exploring.

Adding a system that could point out these little hidden pieces might be interesting but there should be moderation between what is brought to light during clearing the story and what is made available after you have collected all the regions badges, as in not to have users stuck in a town because there are 20 hidden pieces and puzzle to collect. It is a user's choice whether they get stuck on this, but there are also those that want 100% clearance of an area before moving on to the next area.
