was in a battle with lance of the elite 4

I recently bought quite a few revives and potions for the elite 4 and during the battle with lance and the server crashes, I want to know if i will start just before lance or will i lose all the items I used up until that point

If you were mid battle the server will think that you lost so you will be sent back to the latest Pokemon center that you healed at. Sadly none of your items will be refunded.
