Pokemon hunting contest points evaluation

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have some doubts regarding pokemon hunting contest points evaluation.

Does a form pokemon dont get extra points from a normal one? Or does it only depend on ivs, nature and ability?

When I submitted my alopix I got Like 963 pts but when I submitted my valentine snivy h.a I gor only 900 pts despite it been way rare.

Please clear This doubt and thank you for your time

Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue.

You are correct, for the Hunting Contest the points are judged by evaluating the IVs, the Pokémon's Rarity Tier (Common, Uncommon, Rare), the Pokémon's Ability, it's Nature and if the Pokémon is a Form or Shiny.

For the specific situation you described, the reason your Snivy may have gotten less points is because it has less IVs in general than your Alolan Vulpix and both have their Hidden Abilities. IVs, Nature and Ability are important factors while Form and Shiny add bonus points to the Pokémon.

We hope the information provided will be helpful to you. Please feel free to contact us again if you have any further questions or issues and good luck in your adventures!
