I want to find out this information before I head over to Johto, because I would hate to make and major mistakes. Here are some questions, and if you can, please help me out! :)

1) Would your old party be brought over to the new region?

2) Would your PC boxes contain the same Pokemon/items?

3) If you have 6 Pokemon as you arrive, how would you receive your starter?

4) How would you travel back to the previous region? (Fly?)

1- No, they will be locked within your PC and unable to be obtained untill you defeat the 8th GYM.

2- Yes but they will be locked (read 1)

3- Your pokemons will be automatically transfered to your PC and you will start with 0 pokemons. Only to obtain your starter.

4- Train station is available and working. (no fly)
