I find it amusing that with multiple staffers in a live chat no one would answer me on how often servers crash. First of all, welcome to PRO. I'm sorry that your first experience with the game hasn't been pleasant. While PRO does offer live chat support, not all of the IRC staff are actual PRO staff. Since I wasn't there, I can't comment directly on the staff members that you're referring to. 157584 I'm equally appalled that you actually have rules set up that allows you to punish, or ban, anyone who asks about the horrid states of the servers, why they are down, or when the will be live again, yet provide a paid transaction shop. Are the staff in the game to embarrassed by the inability to maintain server status that they truly need to silence it's on player base in order to make themselves feel better? The servers are unstable. We know that. Shane (the only developer for PRO) does his best to improve server stability, but it isn't as easy as upgrading the server. There are two types of server downtime: expected (maintenance) and unexpected (crashes, threadlocking, etc). Maintenance typically takes 5-20 minutes. Unexpected downtime is COMPLETELY dependent upon either an admin or Shane rebooting the server. It's impossible to predict when the game will come back up, but the appropriate people are notified as soon as the game goes down.
