I thought the howl point of purchasing a mount is that you dont have to get a bike, bought even 2 mounts in case it wouldnt work. even a lapras which I cannot mount either on land or water.

cant get pass the officer at the bycikle road thing because I dont have a bike. I got hounddoom and a shiny glaceon just in case. whats up with that?

You need bike for you to enter the route, mounts are just for decoration, nothing else.

Bike and mount are different define in bike road, it purpose for people not bypass process in game (Free to play, not pay to win) through purchasing coin. Thus, you only can access bike road by having bike through money ingame. Sorry about that...
