I see people always trading in the chat saying like "epic (pokemon)" but idk what makes it epic. Also I see people always say good ivs, now i know ivs are like a way to raise stats but im not to sure how to do it and also how do u know which stats are good for which pokemon? Is there some sort of guide that maybe someone can link me to that i presume most ppl go off of here?

EDIT: Plus how do you know what nature is good for what pokemon?

I suggest watch some IV and Nature turtorials on youtube to understand it better. Also you can use smogon.com to check good movesets and nature for each individual pokemon

Epic refers to a pokemon with high IV's in the stats that are important to it, as well as the correct nature and usually correct ability. Godly usually refers to a pokemon with extremely high IV's (27+ in every relevant stat) and has the correct nature and best ability.

To understand which nature/abilities are best for each pokemon, smogon is a good starting place. For the most part it'll give you an idea of what nature you want, what IV's are most important, what EV's u want to train, and what ability you should look for. For more in-depth info on what IV's/ EV's and natures, just search around on google. There are tons of explanations and guides.

Be careful on the trade chat though, there are lots of noobs who don't really know anything about pokemon and label everything as epic just to sell it. There are also people who simply label their pokemon as epic as a ploy to sell it.
