unfortunately no, it was said before "it's a player fault, cause you get a confirmation message before doing so". and if I recall it right they said released pokemon get removed from game.

Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing you can do to bring it back, you just have to be more careful the next time you want to release a pokemon, as it even asks for your confirmation before it gets deleted.
