In the future you can use the Trade Zone depending on the Server you are playing to Price Check what you need. Or you can use the Help/All/Battle Chat in-game to ask for help. Prices can very between Silver and Gold and from one buyer/seller to the other. Sometimes people can also pay more from what it's worth if they really want it. There are many factors for the price, so my suggestion is to keep looking at trade chat for what price are others selling to get an idea how much could something worth.
