Hi, 

I am on my way for the Icicle badge but i am stuck for months in mt.coronet with the onix and steelix blocking the way. 

Can anyone please help me or guide me where to go so i can atleast proceed from this.

Going by your description, it seems that maybe some parts of the Story were not been completed before heading to Snowpoint City.

After beating the 6th Gym Leader (in Canalave City), you will have to meet with Barry, the Professor and Dawn at the top floor of the library located top left of Canalave City. After the dialogue, it will be mentioned that you need to head to Lake Valor, clear out the ennemies there, then head to Lake Verity near your hometown of Twinleaf to do the same. It is only then that the path in Mt. Coronet blocked by the two Pokémon usually clears and you can then proceed. Here is a useful Sinnoh Walktrough if you want more details, along with this.

I will kindly ask you to make sure you went through the part of the Story described above. If after making sure you did that part you still cannot proceed further in Mt. Coronet, kindly come back and mention it here so we can proceed with further assistance.
