Tids
Hi the latest (and probably also the one before) PROclient segfaults here. I tried to re-download without success. I also tried to load it with -force-glcore To not use the vulkan driver, but that changes nothing. Godredeye
This issue isn't limited to Arch Linux; it's happening across other Linux distributions as well. I'm facing the same problem, and unfortunately, they haven't responded to anything I've posted on Discord. The staff seem to focus on answering trivial questions while ignoring my bug report and complaint about this issue. This issue also occurred during last year’s Halloween event. The event had already started, but the Linux client wasn’t even completed. As Linux users, we have no option but to rely on other clients to play PRO. In my case, I use Linux and iPhone, leaving me with no alternative but to play on Linux. This situation gives other users a head start. During the last event, I lost nearly 10 days of progress and missed out on a World Quest. Now, the same thing is happening again. With another World Quest approaching, I’m concerned they won’t complete the Linux client in time. As a developer myself, I understand how challenging it is to create and maintain a game across all platforms. However, we can’t allow this kind of inequality among players. Linux users are consistently at a disadvantage in events like hunting contests or other activities, and this needs to change. Pletzturra
Same issue here. Trying to run it with Steam didn't work either. As an alternative one can Download the Windows client (64 bit, in my case) and run the exe via Steam: Open the Steam client > Games > "Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library" > Browse and select PROClient.exe In your Steam Game Library > right click PROClient.exe > Properties > Compatibility > enable "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" > select "Proton Experimental" [other Proton version will likely work too" Click "PLAY", and catch them all.
