+1 aha, this reminds me of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. With a feature like this, we could also introduce Poké Balls from Legends: Arceus as well, such as the Heavy Ball and jet ball and others

Let Us Move While Queuing – PvP Matchmaking Needs Freedom
Godredeye replied to Psychodis's topic in Suggestions
-1 I’m not entirely sure, but I think the reason players cannot move or perform other actions while in queue is to avoid conflicts with in-game events. For example, if you are walking through grass while in matchmaking queue, you could trigger a wild encounter and then immediately get matched for a PvP battle. What should happen in that case? You might say the encounter could simply count as running away, but what if that encounter was a rare shiny Pokémon? Then players would understandably complain that they lost a valuable encounter because of the matchmaking system and ask for reimbursement or compensation. That would create unnecessary issues for both players and staff. So while the suggestion sounds convenient, it could lead to many complications. Also, while waiting in queue, you can already access the PC. Beyond that, I’m not sure what additional activities would be necessary during matchmaking. -
Mmm, my thoughts on this: The suggestion regarding moves is understandable and somewhat acceptable. If a Pokémon once knew a move, wanting it to remember that move again is logically reasonable. It would also make team building and experimenting with sets much easier and more convenient. However, for EVs, I don’t agree. It doesn’t really make sense. EVs represent the result of training effort invested into specific stats, so they shouldn’t be something a Pokémon can simply switch around freely. That would not be logically consistent with how EVs work. For Legendaries, where options can be more limited, allowing some flexibility may be reasonable. But for regular Pokémon, I don’t think it should apply.

Yes, in Gold, Smurf got two pink forms, but the timing was different. Here it took less than a minute, while for Smurf it took longer, if I remember correctly. There’s nothing wrong here. I don’t understand what doubts you are having — you were just lucky. -

Heavy +1. I understand that PRO is a worldwide game, with players from many different time zones. Because of that, timing becomes extremely important for events like this. Most of the World Quest (WQ) announcements say something like “March 21 during the day” or “March 22 during the day.” The issue is that some players interpret “during the day” as their local daytime, without realizing that the reference is actually GMT+0. For example, the last few WQs for me started at roughly: 10:13 PM 11:01 PM 12:11 AM And from what I’ve seen, these WQs usually end before around 6 AM for my time zone. That period is late night, when most people are normally asleep. One could argue that if we know the WQ will happen around that time, we could simply stay awake for it. However, I have personally stayed awake for several WQs expecting them to start, only for them to actually occur the next day instead. If players had at least a rough idea of the expected timing, it would help a lot. I also understand that organizing events and releases can be stressful. As a developer myself, I know the pressure that comes with making sure everything works properly, especially when something is supposed to go live on a specific day. That said, I imagine WQ scheduling might be a bit easier, since it is largely a pre-programmed event where only the Pokémon, IVs, and possibly an extra outbreak change. Of course, there may still be other technical or logistical issues the developers have to deal with. Still, providing even a rough estimate of when the WQ might occur would benefit many players. Something as simple as: “The Cultist will announce something in about 4–5 hours.” Even a small hint like that would already solve many of the problems players currently face. Another possible solution would be to make the timing completely random. Instead of saying “March 21 during the day (GMT+0)”, simply announce “March 21” and nothing more. The exact timing could then be determined randomly. For example, pick a random GMT time zone and start the quest at 12 PM in that time zone. Right now, players closer to GMT+0 effectively have a noticeable advantage when it comes to participating in these events. I don’t really like calling it an advantage, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that the current timing favors certain regions more than others. It becomes especially frustrating when you miss a WQ purely because of the time zone you live in, rather than because you weren’t available or didn’t want to participate. Randomizing the timing would make things fairer globally, since the inconvenience would rotate between regions instead of consistently affecting the same group of players.
