I want to put a nickname to my typhlosion

Featured Replies

hello everyone, i need help, ik that putting nicknames is impossible, but 2 things

1: make a function to give nicknames requesting them via forums, and staff will evaluate the nickname of the pokemon to see if it is appropiate (this is just a suggestion :v)

2: I want to give my typhlosion the nickname Bikogeno, since in every pokemon game when i get a cyndaquil or its evolution line, i always name it bikogeno, since it remembers me the first game of pokemon i played, wich is pokemon crystal, Staff, i hope you can grant my wish...

Hello @Calebspiano,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, we are unable to change the nickname of a Pokémon. If we did, manually approving every nickname would be an impractical task for staff to manage. It would be a huge undertaking, and such a system would likely not be sustainable in the long term.

Additionally, even if we could make changes to Pokémon nicknames, we would not be able to make an exception for just your case, as it would be unfair to other players.

This suggestion has been rejected many times in the past. You can check out this link for more information on why this decision has been made.
I apologize for not being able to provide the answer you were hoping for.
If you have any other questions, you know where to come!
Kind regards. Thaloras.
