PvP dex random

Recently, I recommended a player to start with the random battle to farm chests, pvp coins, etc. But since he didn't have a pokedex made, he couldn't guide himself by anything, he didn't know the status of almost any pokemon or any ability, I know he could use it in the browser/smogon, but what if this player played on his cell phone for example? 

With that in mind, I suggest that you temporarily release your opponent's Pokémon in the Pokedex to help players play their matches, especially unofficial Pokémon. For example: Baby Lugia, XD001, Mewtwo Steel.

That would ruin the point of people fullfiling their Pokedex and the time they spend on doing that. It would make it unfair.

If your friend doesn't know the Pokemon, then they should focus on their Pokedex first.

You always have the worst take. 

 

We are in a random metagame where there is gen7 pokemon without data so your comment make no sense, here Leo is asking for a dex that will not count in your pokedex just informations for a random PvP ranked and after data is gone

Why make this personal and add unessesary drama?

 

As I mentioned above, many people work hard to fullfill their Pokedex, with whatever comes with that, including PvE and PvP, so allowing new players who didn't work for their Pokedex to have that seen data during Random PvP Battles and did not work for it is unfair. On the end of the day, PRO is not supposed to be an easy game with everything given easy to the players. Also staff have mentioned multiple times that they are planning to release every Pokemon and Legendary eventually. 

The user Leo1019 mentioned about Baby Lugia as one of the examples. There is literally two post game references on that, one for the BabyXD001 and the other one so you can change to Baby Lugia. Why players who worked for it and a new player be given the same information on Pokedex regarding it? Also the description of the user they mentioned sounds indeed a new player if they didn't have almost anything from the Pokedex.

As for the the minority of Pokemon who we indeed do not have access to see at Pokedex, I guess we will have to be patient untill they are implement. That is an another topic, and not related to the Pokedex. Most experienced players or people who are interested would propably know them from other means anyway.

 

PRO does not have only one audience, there are both PvP and PvE players, you cannot forget the one side or give everything only to one while the other has to work for it.

At the end of the day, I am allowed to share my opinion and not forcing anyone. We the players are sharing our thoughts and the respectively authorities decide how they want to proceed.
