New Ev map suggestion

Featured Replies

I am currently loving the new ev spots that have been provided to us. However it would be nice to get a place to reliably heal my pokemon like a nurse joy without the pokemon centre being present. I dont want the pokemon centre to be available otherwise I would find it useless for having a price tag for entering if you can train all your pokemon from your PC.

Anyway this is just a suggestion and I love what you guys have done so far to the game.

Keep up the good work and...

Love you always :)

awesome thats good to know can you direct me to this bit of info also :)

I am working on new area. You will be updated shortly. Also, the EV areas will be optional. I see them as a place for people who want to train EVs fast with little effort given. But sure we can make that for them. I also want people to spend certain items there such as elixir. Having nurse joy would kill the point of said area and make sinkhole useless.

As long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those that are unable to accept what can be.

I think introducing more sinks (forcing players to use HP and PP restoration items) would just deter players from paying 15k for the EV training map.

I didn't like the idea of an EV training area simply because I thought it would be too easy to EV train and even brainless, lazy people would have pokemon that were EV trained. After exploring the area a little bit more and seeing that there is no nurse there almost balances it out. It still seems overpowered in my opinion even though you'd have to buy elixirs. The only thing that should be added to this map is a "Smuggler" type npc. He would sell potions and elixirs at an extremely inflated price. Assuming someone one shots pokemon there and gets on average 2 EV's per PP used, 10 pp = 20 EV's (you purchase 10 EV's for 28k) the price has to be quite high but not too high to where leaving and repaying the 15k is worth it. Anywhere from 1-2k per elixir increases the sink for taking the easy way out.
