Here's a tip: buy a Adamant sync from someone, or just get it for free from a friend, but 30 poke balls, go hunt magikarp.

Once you get a good one, train it and love it, and one day it will become an epic beast. You will also earn money will doing so. I've seen a ton of posts on wtb trash pokemon, but I don't think that actually works.
