Idk if this has been suggested before or not but. I think giving new players the freedom of choosing a region to start in would be cool. Instead of having them start in kanto all the time. This would also probably encourage players to move to the blue server :)

I don't see a problem: the game just follows a chronological order. Btw I don't think this is something necessary atm.

eh personal opinion :X. I for one don't bother with johto. I'm not interested with anything in it.

Before the game went live, this was discussed among staff members. It was decided that everyone would start in Kanto and progress from there. Taking the time to re-script Kanto, Johto, and even Hoenn at this point in the game's development would take valuable time away from other things that need to be completed.
