I was just wondering if there are some pokemon that you can catch using a rod and not from surfing and vice versa? because https://pokemonrevolutiononlineguide.jimdo.com/ seems to suggest that. If this is true how can you tell which method you use as the pokedex doesn't appear to show it.

yes, they are some pokemons that can only be found from fishing and not surfing, and viceversa
