This is the second time in a row that I catch a shiny and it uses explosion. Last time I opened a topic here on the forum about a shiny Weezing that gave explosion and now Graveler that gave explosion. Until when? Do I still have any chance of catching shiny in this game?

Bring a pokemon with the ability damp. For example. Golduck.

Hello there @Ericgv Firstly, my apologies for this harsh twist of fate. To prevent this happening a third time, it may indeed be worth preparing a Pokemon with the Damp ability. This ability would prevent a wild Pokemon from successfully exploding or self-destructing. Simply, switch in the Damp Pokemon if you suspect a wild Pokemon you wish to catch may use Explosion/Self-destruct and these moves will fail.
