I just tested out brock on hardmode and found out that I could indeed battle him despite only having 18ish hours on this account. Were the hour requirements removed? The link that @Stevan01 kindly provided shows a list of all bosses, each with their own page listing lots of useful information, including any requirements to challenging them.
