Capitalization in Standard Chat

Featured Replies

Current we are able to have any capitalization in private messages however we are unable to have it in standard chat such as All Chat. Although, I can see how this being enabled could be an issue with capitalization abuse I believe that it currently has drawbacks that may outweigh that. Specifically, there are frequent cases where hyperlinks to the PRO wiki do not work due to the link having capitalization in the query position of the link and it does not translate to in game chat. For example: the link to the Arcanine mount quests (https://wiki.pokemonrevolution.net/index.php?title=Arcanine_Mount_(quest)) does not take the player to this page when accessed in-game.

Because of this, it is difficult at times to guide newer players to important quests and/or information on the wiki. Although I realize that it could be a private message, some players turn off their online status and also there may be other players that are not as outspoken about asking for help that would benefit from the information in the standards chats.
