Try to close completely your client or redownload, it will help you for almost the case

Literally that's the only information I have. I have re-downloaded the client and it worked when I used it yesterday however I only booted the game up once and that was right after the download completed. My problem is I sign in perfectly fine then it goes to load me into the game then it black screens and says "Loading map" I've left it for an hour and nothing has "loaded"

I had the same Problem with the 64bit Version. After i downloaded the 32bit Version it works. Now i Play with the 32 bit Version. Hope i helped you.

I had the same issue, the thing is, is my norton antivirus was actually deleting a file when I launched it. IT was like sharp.dll, but anyways if you have antivirus make an exclusion to your pokemon folder so that it doesn't delete it anymore. Hope it helps anyone else!

Try to log off ur antivirus and see if its works like that :y:
