I'm sorry to hear your problems have returned. Lets try to get you playing again. 

 

There is a known bug that affects some players relating to the game sounds. It happened to me as well. Most are able to solved this by muting the game sounds, which can be done by clicking the "Options" button in the bottom right of the clients log in screen. Was this the fix you attempted?

 

I have attached a screenshot of what settings I currently run. 

 

This will be corrected in a future update, but for now, this appears to be an acceptable work around. Please let me know if that solves your problem.
