This would encourage more community-driven events and increase player interaction,. Additionally, adding an NPC that can convert items, Pokémon, or in-game money into a redeem code would be an awesome quality-of-life feature. These codes could then be used as prizes for hosted events or shared with other players, making trading, giveaways, and tournaments much more flexible and fun.
