Repel dispenser

Featured Replies

We all know that repel hunting is a kinda expensive, but more convenient way of hunting rare pokemon. After years of hunting, I've come up with an idea that's not game changing or game breaking, but might serve as an investment for those who use repels a lot.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me present you the REPEL DISPENSER (name suggestions r welcome!)

HOW I WOULD IMAGINE IT TO WORK:

It's basically a TOOL - A coin shop item costing 75/100 coins, just like the other tools we have right now. It'd basically work just as any other tool, you could drag it to your hotbar in the left corner of your game. For this presentation, I'll use a flashlight:

You see that I have a normal max repel and the "tool" in my hotbar. The tool itself would function the same as any normal repel would (and it'd also consume from your repel "storage"), but activating it instead of the normal repel would be an on/off thing of itself, which means there wouldn't be a repel prompt message - it would function as long as you have any kind of repel in your backpack, going from the most effective to the least effective of them, basically activating them without the player having to click the repel prompt reusage window every time one repel wears off.

It could have an icon similar to the current repel ones we have rn - of course, with, or without the step thing.  Clicking it from your backpack or activating it from hotbar twice would turn it off, which would mean that the tool would stop activating repels automatically, and your repel prompt would show up after the last one the tool activated wears off.

WHY WOULD IT BE USEFUL?

As Pro is an MMO, which is a pretty grindy genre as we know it, I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who is hunting in PRO with a split screen and doing something else on the other side of the screen - let it be watching series, browsing through forums, facebook.. etc

Repel hunting is meant to make the hunts more convenient for ppl who are willing to pay for the repels. I'm also in this group, but after hunting "normally" and with repels, I've found myself having to focus more on the game while using repels than while not using them. The repel prompt - which AFAIK we have no key bind for makes you interact with the game, click on yes and then go on with your hunt. With this tool, you could enjoy your favourite videos on the internet, series... etc without needing to hover your mouse over to PRO every 1-2 minutes.

It would also come in handy while doing event/story quests/ recording videos for these topics - as the annoying repel prompt would be a thing of the past! (or the thing of the poor - depending on how you look at things!)

Suggestions and opinions are welcome and I hope that y'all have a beautiful day/night!

Hey, thanks for your suggestions.

A function for "auto-repel" was already suggested a couple of times and was denied since players are wanted to pay at least minimum attention to the game while hunting.

Hotkeys for the Yes/No-prompts may come in the future but its not a priority right now.

Greetings~
