What have you done before the problem was there?

I was simply raising my heatproof bronzor in rock tunnel. Then i encountered a rattata, i was going to kill it but it landed a sucker punch on my pokemon, turns out super effective which is suppose to not happen as it should only be calculated as normal dmg coz bronzor is half psychic and half steel. I have played the previous games before and it is a normal dmg calculation, dark supereffectiveness on psychic typing is somehow negated by its steel typing..example of a logic for this..

 

1) emolga with flying and electric typing,.if that get attacked with ground type move will that be killed? Obviously not, right? Because it has its secondary type which is flying. Its flying typing will prevent it from recieving damage from ground type moves, except sandstorm which is a weather hazard.

 

Regardless of that, bronzors weakness and resistance to dark should be calculated as normal dmg rather than super effective dmg to it..

I have tested other pokemons.that i have with dual typing. So far found out bronzor is the only one i have with an issue.

Logic of Pokemon.... we cannot change. Sorry for nothing issue belong to Pokemon logic.

They nerfed Steel Type in Gen VI to take normal dmg from Ghost and Dark Types if I recall correctly.

As for Emolga I don't know anything, maybe he's bugged
