I mistakenly bid on a gold server auction what do i do i forgot to see the server before biding

To answer your question, if you place a bid on an auction from the opposite server, you're responsible for transferring servers if you end up winning the auction. Please keep in mind that Cross Server Auctions are an exception to this, as per our Trade Rules:

CROSS SERVER RULES

3. When a trade agreement is made concerning players from different servers, the responsibility of transferring lies with the thread creator.

- This rule does not apply when there is an explicit written agreement between the buyer and seller about who will transfer to honour the deal. Evidence of this agreement must be made and kept, and made available upon Staff request.

Fortunately, you were outbid in this auction, so there's nothing to worry about this time. Just make sure to double-check which server an auction is on before placing a bid in the future.

As a small tip, the new Trade Zone lets you filter auctions by Gold or Silver, so you can easily avoid bidding on the wrong server. Setting your main server in the settings (⚙️ icon) also helps.
