I'm currently building a Balance team centered around Mega Mawile.

Ability: Intimidate → Huge Power
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpDef

• Play Rough

• Sucker Punch

• Thunder Punch

• Swords Dance

Main win condition. Thunder Punch targets bulky Water-types such as Slowbro, Slowking, Pelipper, Mantine and Gyarados, as well as bulky Flying-types such as Corviknight and Skarmory.

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet

Ability: Rough Skin
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 Spe

• Stealth Rock

• Earthquake

• Dragon Tail

• Toxic

Physical wall, hazard setter and contact punisher.

My Garchomp only has 24 Speed IV, so 84 Speed EVs are used to reach 254 Speed. This outspeeds maximum-Speed neutral-nature Pokémon up to base 77, most notably Heatran, which reaches 253. It also naturally outspeeds maximum-Speed neutral-nature Pokémon such as Tyranitar, Bisharp, Breloom, Magnezone and Scizor. The remaining EVs are invested in physical bulk.

Tangrowth @ Assault Vest

Ability: Regenerator
Nature: Sassy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpDef

• Giga Drain

• Knock Off

• Hidden Power FIRE

• Earthquake

Main defensive pivot. The specially defensive Assault Vest investment complements Chansey while still allowing Tangrowth to check several physical Ground- and Water-types. Hidden Power FIRE, not the best I'd try HP ICE, but didn't find any Decente Tangrowth Sassy + Regen + HP ICE yet.

Hydreigon @ Choice Scarf

Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SpAtk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe

• Draco Meteor

• Dark Pulse

• Flamethrower

• U-turn

Speed control, revenge killer and potential late-game cleaner.

Chansey @ Eviolite

Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SpDef

• Soft-Boiled

• Seismic Toss

• Heal Bell

• Toxic

Special wall. I didn't want to Teleport/Wish since it's banned in official ladder.

Sixth slot — currently testing

I initially used Latias (Draco Meteor, Defog, Roost and Healing Wish). However, it often feels too passive in practice and tends to slow down the team's momentum. Also it's a 3 Dragon type making the team even more sensible to ICE & Fairy Type (Weavile, Greninja, Diancie-M, Clefable, etc...)

I'm now considering Rotom-Wash, which could provide:

• Volt Switch momentum

• A better matchup against Landorus-T and other Ground-types

• An additional Fire resistance

• Will-O-Wisp support

• Safer opportunities to bring in Mega Mawile or Hydreigon

The main drawback would be losing Defog and so Hazard control.

Do you have any feedback ? I don't really want to follow a meta or something, just to bring some balanceand consistancy to my team.

Only few PvP matches yet, already bored of Tornadus Landorus Diancie-M !

So far one poke is really pressuring your team : Kyurem Black

but more generally, you are weak to many current offensive threat in meta like keldeo (especially if you don't go Latias), mega gardevoir or clefable as soon as mawile is weakened

To me AV tangrowth don't make much sense if you already run chansey, one of them has to go
