Hey guys,

The last three days, i am searching for a dragon scale using Thief against wilds Horsea at route 19. I have encounter over a 100 seadra, and i still havent found none.

Is the 5%, that older posts claims, legit? Does the Horsea spawns with a dragon scale at route 19, or i am just wasting my time?

Apologies for the difficulty in your hunt, but with the updates to the spawns, we unfortunately we don't have a current list of what items are obtainable from which routes. The item Dragon Scale would be at a 5% chance of being held if available at that location.

To make things easier when hunting held items from wild Pokémon, you can try using a Pokémon with the ability Frisk. When in battle, ability allows your Pokémon to check if the opposing Pokémon is holding an item, and if so, what item that is. This makes it very helpful for not only battles (like seeing if the opposing Pokémon has a Focus Sash), but also for wild encounters.
