I’m having an issue with a progress rollback after the game crashed.

I had successfully defeated the entire Johto Elite Four at the Indigo Plateau and continued playing afterward. While I was inside a cave, the game suddenly crashed. When I logged back in, my progress had been rolled back to before I defeated the Elite Four.

The problem is that the rollback was not complete: the money I had spent on items (including Hyper Potions) was not restored, even though my Elite Four progress was removed.

So I lost the progress of defeating the Elite Four, while still losing the money I had spent preparing for and completing those battles.

Could you please check my account/server logs and see if my Elite Four progress can be restored, or if there is anything that can be done to correct this rollback?

I would really appreciate it, as I had already completed the Elite Four before the crash.

I'm sorry to hear about your game crashing and the unfortunate effects.

At the Indigo Plateau, you'll find an NPC named "Hoenn Traveler", located between the 2 buildings. Can you please take a screenshot of what the NPC says when you interact with him?

As far as I can tell, you have defeated both the Kanto and Johto Elite 4's, despite your game crash, and can continue onto the Hoenn region if you wish. Does that Npc offer to take you to Hoenn?

Yes, that NPC offered to take me to Hoenn. However, after the game crashed and I logged back in, I was back before defeating the Elite Four. I’m glad to know that the logs show that I actually defeated them. Does this mean I can continue to Hoenn without having to defeat the Elite Four again?

Correct, you should now have unlocked access to the Hoenn region and can now start your story there.

I suspect the crash sent your character to the previous location you healed at, or the previous location your character was at when it was last auto-saved. While you're location wasn't the same as when you crashed, you had still defeated the Elite 4.
